Movie buffs settled in for the most anticipated event of the year, the 92nd Academy Awards, which premiered on February 9th, 2020. This Korean film was up against some incredibly tough competition for Best Picture. This category was one of the closest it has ever been, and any of the nominated films could have taken home the Oscar. But Parasite was clearly the film that deserved the award the most.
