As kids, most of us spent our nights and weekends glued to the TV waiting for our favorite Nickelodeon show to pop on. While Friday nights were reserved for original Disney movies, our weekdays were consumed by Nick Jr., Nickelodeon, and Nick at Nite.

With so many amazing shows like Hey Arnold!, Franklin and Friends, and Rugrats, it makes us wonder if other people loved our favorite shows as much as we did. Well, thanks to the movie database website IMDb, we can see how other fans rated our favorite shows. Keep scrolling to see the 10 highest ranked shows on shown on Nickelodeon.

DRAKE & JOSH: 7.7

Drake & Josh totally set up the careers for Drake Bell and Josh Peck. The show was based on two very different boys who just learned they’re becoming stepbrothers who now need to live under the same roof. We all sat and watched these two hilariously try and get along through everyday disruptions.

The show lasted for four seasons and even sprung into two made-for-TV movies! Another sweet factor about this show is that the friendship between Drake and Josh was very real, which made fans want to watch the show even more because of their chemistry.

KENAN & KEL: 7.8

Who can forget Kenan & Kel! Starring Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, the show focused on two BFFs (Kenan and Kell) go on odd adventures throughout high school. Things typically always make a turn for the worse thanks to Kel’s silly nature and Kenan’s ‘get rich quick’ schemes. These two couldn’t be more different but viewers connected to them.

The show ran for four seasons and even spiraled into a separate movie (not related to Kenan and Kel) that starred Kenan and Kel as similar characters: Good Burger.

ROCKO’S MODERN LIFE: 7.9

Rocko’s Modern Life was the adorably weird show about a wallaby named Rocko. Alongside Rocko, we met his BFFs Heffer and Filburt.

Twenty-three years after the last season of Rocko’s Modern Life, a Netflix movie came out showing fans what Rocko and co. have been up to since we last saw them in the ’90s. Funny enough, the famous trio found themselves stuck in Outerspace and when they made it back to Earth, life as they knew it was very different.

MY BROTHER AND ME: 8.0

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: 8.1

SpongeBob SquarePants is iconic. The hilarious show revolves around a talking sponge named SpongeBob and his life in Bikini Bottom. As a cook at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob takes his job very seriously and loves everyone he meets (including his enemies). His best friend is a starfish named Patrick, his cranky neighbor is a squid named Squidward, and his boss is a sassy crab named Mr. Krabs.

The show was an immediate success, spiraling into three movies: The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004), The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015), and The SpongeBob Movie: It’s a Wonderful Sponge (releasing in 2020). SpongeBob is still on in 2019 and going strong after multiple voice and plot changes.

LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE: 8.1

Legends of the Hidden Temple was a burst of adrenaline that kids watching Nickelodeon loved. Lasting for three seasons, the game show had teens go head-to-head on different challenges to try and find treasures inside a freaky Mayan temple. As a teen, there was nothing more exciting than watching kids of the same age compete next to each other to find the prize. Everyone wanted to join the teams to see if they had what it takes to win it all. In fact, the show was so good that a live-action movie revolved around the show released in late 2016.

THE ADVENTURES OF PETE & PETE: 8.2

With an 8.2 rating, it’s clear Nick fans loved The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Just like Drake & Josh and My Brother and Me, this show revolved around two very different brothers. The comedy had Big Pete narrate as he dealt with his younger, more annoying brother, Little Pete. We also meet a ton of their likable friends and neighbors.

The show did well and lasted for three strong seasons before it ended. However, if fans miss these two, they can actually listen to The Adventures of Danny and Mike, a podcast done by the actors who played Pete and Pete!

INVADER ZIM: 8.3

Invader Zim was one of those shows that grew on you. You either liked it or you didn’t, but according to IMDb, it appears people loved (and miss) Invader Zim.

The animated show only lasted for two seasons but fans saw Zim (an alien-like creature from the Irken race) as very cocky and overconfident as he practically destroys life around him. Nickelodeon and Invader Zim writers came head-to-head at times due to the dark nature of the show. When you look at most Nickelodeon shows, none are as dark as Invader Zim.

THE LEGEND OF KORRA: 8.5

The animated series, The Legend of Korra, comes in second place as the most beloved show on Nickelodeon, according to IMDb. From 2012 to 2014, the show was actually connected to Avatar: The Last Airbender. It showed what life was like 70 years after the fact. With four very different nations, we meet Korra as the main protagonist and her Team Avatar friends. The show was adventurous with unique plotlines, drawing people who loved watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. And speaking of that show, scroll down to see who made our number one spot…

AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER: 9.2

With a 9.2 rating, Avatar: The Last Airbender came in first place as the most popular show on Nickelodeon, according to IMDb. Lasting for three seasons, the show even won an Emmy! Focusing on Aang, it’s up to him and his friends to defeat Fire Lord Ozai to save the world. To end the show, Nickelodeon did it in a bang with a two-hour-long TV movie.
